Warfare and Worship: Part 2 – Worship in Spiritual Warfare

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at RACC on 8/17/25.  It is based on 2 Chronicles 5:13-14.  As a true believer in Jesus as Lord of your life, you can have access to many spiritual weapons and strategies. One of the most powerful of these weapons is worship. Worship changes your focus from your circumstances to God. Instead of worrying about the battles of life, you turn your attention to worshipping God.

The 10 Commandments: God’s Loving Fence of Protection

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at RACC on 8/10/25.  It is based on John 14:15; 24.  The final test of our love for God is obedience, not sweet emotions, not willingness to perform religious activities, and not religious zeal, but obedience to the commandments of Christ.  Our Lord drew a line plain and infallible for everyone to see.  The 10 Commandments (Exodus 20:1–17 and Deuteronomy 5:4–21) are key to understanding the Old Testament and by extension the ministry of Jesus.

The Difference Between Self Sabotage and Being a Living Sacrifice

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at RACC on 8/3/25.  It is based on Romans 12:1 and Luke 22:31-32.  This message is being included as a sidebar during the deliberation of the four part Warfare and Worship message.  It reveals how God strategically expects us to war against the enemy’s attempt to block and cause us to abort our journey of faith.

When Hard Pillows Become Pillars – A Meditative Testimony of Jacob

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live 7/13/25 during our Nursing Home visitation ministry.  It is based mainly on Genesis 28:16-19 and Philippians 2:4-5.  When you’re seemingly stuck between a rock and a hard place, that’s when you need a revelation from heaven as your bridge of motivation to move you to your divine destiny.  When God’s Spirit awakens your senses, you will be enabled to sense the salvation of the Lord.  Then you will be afforded the opportunity to make the right choice of going where God wants to lead you.

Beware the Fascinating Facade of Demons

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at RACC on 7/6/25.  It is based on Genesis 27:41-45; 33:1-11; and 1 Peter 5:8-11.  If you intend on living a victorious Christian life or life more abundantly as Christ put it, then you must prepare yourself accordingly, living with a holy consciousness by the power of heavenly purpose as a faithful disciple of Jesus, and as a Holy Spirit empowered worker in the Lord’s Church.

I Choose Faith and Joy

Our very own Elder Guendalina Norris-Lopez shared this message live at RACC during our Tamar’s Oasis Women’s Ministry, Morning Worship Service.  It is based on Hebrews 11:6; Psalm 16:11; and Nehemiah 8:10.  The enemy works to distract us away from having faith and joy in God, but he cannot keep us away from God’s accessible love.  We need the ongoing resolve to declare – I Choose Faith and Joy!

Personal Preparation for Worship

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at RACC on 6/22/25.  It is based mainly on Psalm 132:7. How often do you worship privately?  Private worship  actually prepares you for public worship at the local assembly.  If you are not a personal worshipper, your corporate worship will most likely leave something to be desired.  This message focuses on personal preparation for both private and corporate worship.

The Disciplines of Godly Fathers

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live on 6/15/25, Father’s Day at RACC.  It is based on 2 Timothy 2:19.  Our Heavenly Father is the best example and mentor for all earthly fathers.  There are five descriptions of Christian character that men need if they intend on living according to the ways that God intended for them to practice as godly fathers.
