New Life for a New Day

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 1/3/21, which is a New Year’s Day Weekend Meditation based mainly on Psalm 1:1-6.  This is an encouraging word for anyone who wants the soil of their soul to be fertile, bringing forth much fruit to the glory of God.  No one wants to be useless, but if God’s will is not your source of life, then a feeling of dissatisfaction will be the prevailing condition of your sou

How to Wait While You’re Waiting on the Lord

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this New Year’s Eve, Watch Night Service message on 12/31/20.  It is based mainly on Isaiah 40:29-31.  This message helps us to realize that God is cultivating prophetic encouragement to motivate and revive us, so that we may avoid becoming complacent during our process of spiritual maturity.

The Sanctified Peace of the Redeemer

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 12/20/20 based on Judges 6:21-24 and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24.
Paul’s letter to the church at Thessalonica emphasizes readiness for the 2nd Advent of Jesus Christ, our kinsmen redeemer.  Fighting the good fight of faith will facilitate readiness for Christ’s return as King of kings and Lord of lords!  We must be absolutely certain that the anchor of our entire being — our body, soul, and spirit holds and grips the Eternal Solid Rock – Jesus Christ.

Jesus Came to Restore Us

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 12/13/20 based on Psalm 119:9-16 and Matthew 16:25.
It is God’s loving intention to rescue the souls of mankind, because we have been spiritually imprisoned, deceitfully and fatally sickened by the sting of death, and misdirected in our eternal purpose.  The utter profound truth of the Heavenly Father’s gift of agape is prophetically chronicled throughout the Holy Word.  Jesus is that almighty precious gift, but we must accept His complete divine purpose to reap the eternal benefit of being reconciled to God in a right relationship.

Only Covenant Disciples Can Truly Worship Christ as Lord

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 12/6/20 based on Proverbs 21:3 – We cannot expect God to be pleased with us when we do things just to serve ourselves, becoming righteous in our own eyes, which is a sin.  Fulfilling the lust of the flesh — to feel good or to fit in — all is sin.  Cleaning up our acts by surrendering all to Jesus as Lord is the only acceptable sacrifice of obedience to God.

I May be Walking with a Limp, but Thank God I’m Still Walking!

Associate Pastor Lisa Jackson shared this message on 11/29/20 based on 2 Cor. 12:7-10…”I May be Walking with a Limp, but Thank God I’m Still Walking!” – Because of the Lord’s grace, no weakness, struggle, or stronghold can stop God from loving you…His power gives determination for the faithful to live for Him.

How to Endure Temptation

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 11/15/20 based on James 1:12 and Matt 4:1-11.  It encourages us to live everyday life as renewed, strengthened soldiers of Christ.  If we are not encouraged in this manner, then our eternal destiny and purpose, is at stake, and we will not have the vitality and power we need to be the salt and light the Lord Jesus wants us to be through the power of the Holy Spirit.  God’s omnipotence will prevail against satan’s agenda, enabling God’s people to prevail.

Put God’s Kingdom First

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 11/8/20 based on Matthew 6:10a and John 1:11-13.  We cannot expect to see Jesus one day, if we are not doing all He has placed in our hands to do right now.  We must not only want His kingdom to come one day, but we should not be able to live without its foretaste flowing from our hearts everyday.

There’s Grace in Depending on God!

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this interim message on 9/20/20 based mainly on Psalm 50:15 – The amazing grace of God is dispensed by heaven to promote true worship.  We can do and say a whole lot of things towards heaven, but we cannot be truly blessed until we take to heart that God is glorified in what He does for us, not by what we do for Him.  Remembering this reality will help us remain humble and dependent on His grace and goodness.  You can make your claim to this promise, however, not by demand, but by humble submission.

Be a Defender not a Pretender: Part 2 – Examples of How the Power of True Faith Really Works

This is Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson’s introductory sermon of his Salt and Light Series, based on Romans 1:16 – If you don’t stand up for true biblical faith you’ll fall in either fear, falsehood, or both.  If you stand for God, He will stand for you.  Unfortunately, some people will chose to take a pretentious stand.  To defend the Gospel properly, you must properly depend upon the power of God at all times.
