How Jesus Defined Holiness

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 4/18/21 based on Matthew 5:13-20.
We are not born naturally knowing exactly how to live in complete agreement with the Creator’s eternal expectations.  Our bodies and souls are alive as we are born biologically, but our spirit is dead, in need of regeneration by the Holy Spirit. That condition renders us unholy, estranged from our Creator, lacking the essence of His glory.  To properly live the Gospel, you must properly depend upon the power of God at all times.

Vexation of the Spirit Leads to Backsliding

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message on 1/10/21.  It is based on Genesis 13:10-13 and 2 Peter 2:7-14.  We should live in agreement with God, and avoid even the smallest, seemingly insignificant, tolerable rebellion; because doing so puts us at odds against the teaching and leading of the Holy Spirit.  Disregarding the Spirit quenches His holy fire, which hinders His move and frustrates, or vexes Him.
