This scripture reveals how Christ has accomplished His ministry of salvation for our fallen, sinful souls in the midst of a condemned world.  No matter what the devil says, Christ can be your faithful deliverer, giving you hope and eternal love.  The Holy Spirit is proclaiming and reminding us that through Christ, we can go against the devil to live a holy and victorious life according to God’s intended standards.
