Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message during a Zoom Worship Meeting on June 14, 2020.  It is part two of the previous sermon listed in this series, and is yet based on Joshua 1: 7-8, and 2 Timothy 2:15.  It is the Lord’s intention that each of us intimately know our divine purpose according to His eternal will.  The book of Joshua was written for that reason.  He knows that our complex heart issues are not too complex for Him to solve.  Unfortunately, it may take some people their whole lifetime to learn that.  This world is full of issues from our bad decisions, but God wants to and can rescue us.  However, we can’t be rescued until we know we need rescuing and until we know what’s so wrong with us that needs rescuing.  The personality of the book of Joshua matches the ups and downs of a heart void of complete surrender to God.  It shows how fickle we can be when it comes to loving God the way HE should be loved — in complete faithfulness.
