It is possible for one to have the ability to recognize how the mighty presence of God never fails, but not have an ongoing, faithful relationship with Him.  This revival message examines an ancient king whose life represents such a possibility.  He did not seek to become well acquainted with the gift of a holy appetite from God, which is the only means of having the right purpose for living.  That is why his desires did not match God’s desires.  We can have godly peace and contentment when our everyday longings meet God’s approval.
