Island Nursing Home Ministry – We Worship God for Spiritual Strength

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live during our Island Nursing Home Visitation Ministry on 4/14/24.  It is based on Psalm 34:1 – “I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”  This scripture was written to help us maintain a correct attitude when it comes to relating to our Creator.  This devotional message is fortified with the essential scriptural vitamins of Psalms 3 and 4.  For in these Psalms we will find the ongoing presence of mind to maintain a proper attitude of gratitude towards God every day and evening as we retire for the night.

The Essence of True Communion

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm on 4/7/24.  It is based on Isaiah 53:4-5 and
1 Corinthians 11:23-30.  A daily examination of ourselves is necessary to help us maintain dependence on the perfect provision of life that comes exclusively from Jesus as Lord.  Without this process of life-long cultivation, by God’s Spirit, we will not enjoy true communion, and others around us will not readily “taste and see that the Lord is good.”

How to Bless the Lord – A Resurrection Sunday Meditation

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm on Resurrection Sunday.  It is based on Psalm 103:1-5.  As we seek to commemorate how Jesus Christ chose to be the sacrificial substitute for the sins of lost man, we will also look to historical, biblical testimonies that represent both the burden and blessing of activating true faith by worshipping Jesus as Lord.  He has done great things for us, and we should want to do great things for Him despite all odds against us.

Live by the Power and Faith of God’s Spirit

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm on 3/24/24.  It is based on Romans 8:8-18 and Hebrews 11:5-6.  Since God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, it is in our hands to take advantage of the opportunity to obtain, through spiritual heritage, the blessings prepared for those who qualify as the joint heirs of Christ.  Christ as the Son of Man has been given all authority to successfully lead willing souls to experience the joy of heaven’s will as His Spirit enables them to live a holy and separated life in this present world!

Surviving as a Living Sanctuary

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message shared live at RACC on 3/17/24, based on Romans 12:1, 2; and John 2:11-17.
God wants to lead you to maintain the right attitude that will give you the spiritual advantage in the war against your soul’s eternity.

Using the Eyes and Heart of God to Defeat Satan

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm on 3/10/24, based on Deuteronomy 6; 6:4, 5.  It is high time for us to focus on loving the Lord the way He ought to be loved.  We will experience greater things in God when our hearts are exclusively yielded to His divine purpose.  The enemy of God, who is also the enemy of all who will love God, seeks to steal, kill, and

Hindrances to Watch and Pray About: Part 2 – How to Endure Temptation

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm on 3/3/24, based on James 1:12 and Matt 4:1-11.  The Lord is encouraging us to go into our new day as renewed, strengthened soldiers of Christ.  The Spirit seeks to birth us into newness that will bless us with vitality and power.  His omnipotence will prevail against satan’s agenda, enabling God’s people to prevail.

Hindrances to Watch and Pray About: Part 1 – Holy Diligence Breeds Holy Virtues

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm based on James 1:12.
Along the journey of holy faith there will be things to be alert about. For such things will impede our progress, and even cause us to forfeit our faith if allowed to take root and mature.  The Holy Spirit is asking, “Are you faithful, but reserve the right to be subtly rebellious?”

Submitting and Committing as God Would Have It

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live at The Realm on 2/18/24, based on Philippians 2:3.  The highest level of fellowship, submission, the foundation of God’s grace, connects true disciples, while sufficiently satisfying all personal needs that we dare expose to our gracious Lord, Christ Jesus.  He himself had to submit to the sovereign will of God.  His faithful obedience to God serves as a model of our need to decommission our innate sinful nature, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform and renew us as we submit exclusively and completely to God.

Six Traits for People of Divine Purpose

Sr. Pastor A. A. Jackson shared this message live on 2/11/24 at the Island Nursing and Rehab Center.  It is based on Psalm 139:14. When we are saved, Jesus gives us spiritual gifts that will make us special, useful, and needed by others in His Body of Believers.  He blesses us to be blessings to others.  It’s experiential, not merely   intellectual or verbal.
